Overview
Radiology Specialist with experience in Breast Pathology for a specialized and multidisciplinary unit in Zaragoza. Proven experience in breast diagnosis and interventional radiology, MIR specialty or equivalent qualification, and valid or obtainable medical license are required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform and report mammography, tomosynthesis, and breast ultrasound.
- Report breast MRI.
- Perform core needle biopsies (BAG), vacuum-assisted biopsies (BAV), fine-needle aspiration (PAAF), and pre-surgical marking.
- Participate in the Multidisciplinary Breast Pathology Committee.
- Perform invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Inform patients about procedures and potential complications.
- Participate in scientific, educational, and clinical meetings.
- Comply with radiation protection regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Degree in Medicine with a qualification recognized in Spain.
- Specialty in Diagnostic Radiology via MIR or duly recognized equivalent.
- Valid medical license or ability to obtain one before starting.
- Proven experience in breast diagnosis and interventional radiology.
- Teamwork and patient-oriented approach.
- Training or fellowship in Breast Radiology, experience in screening, and participation in committees are desirable.
- Interest in continuous training and professional development is desirable.
