Overview
Position within the Fast Track team of the South Health Pole.
Address: 28 rue de Guetteloup, 72100 Le Mans.
Unit dedicated to pre‑operative preparation and care, distinct from the conventional SSPI.
Team consists of two registered nurses (IDE) and a part‑time nursing assistant.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and accompany patients.
- Prepare patients for the operating theatre.
- Verify patient records.
- Administer therapies.
- Insert IV lines, the main activity of the role.
- Monitor vital signs.
- Contribute to the management and smooth flow of patients.
- Collaborate with anesthetists, surgeons, operating‑room nurses, outpatient services and orderlies.
Desired profile
- State nursing diploma.
- Experience in pre‑anaesthesia, SSPI, operating room or outpatient care is appreciated but not required.
- Proficiency in inserting IV lines and monitoring vital signs.
- Rigorous in verifying records and administering treatments.
- Respect for protocols and professional confidentiality.
- Adaptability, organization, interpersonal skills, team spirit and good physical condition.
Contract, organization and compensation
Full‑time fixed‑term replacement contract, to be filled as soon as possible.
Initial duration of one month as described, with a strong possibility of extension; banner indicating one to four months.
Daytime schedule Monday to Friday; mention of seven hours in the posting, exact hours to be confirmed.
Training and shadowing provided at start of assignment.
Seniority carry‑over announced at 100 % for nursing staff.
Base salary not disclosed.
