Senior Consultant Anesthesiology (m/f/d)

About the Position

Your Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise anesthesiology services in the central operating theatre and further develop modern anesthesia techniques.
• Treat patients in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit.
• Participate actively in the emergency physician service at the affiliated emergency site.
• Supervise, guide and promote resident physicians in a structured manner, and co‑design internal training programs.
• Develop clinical treatment pathways, processes, as well as quality and safety standards.
• Teach at the School of Advanced Training in Anesthesia/Intensive Care Medicine.
• Take on administrative tasks, especially personnel planning.
• Participate in the senior physician duty model.

Your Profile

• Board certification in Anesthesiology with extensive and long‑standing clinical experience in a leadership role, e.g., as senior physician.
• Additional qualifications in Specialized Intensive Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine are ideally present.
• Responsible leadership style, team and communication skills, and assertiveness.
• Understanding of business‑economic aspects and willingness to collaborate interdisciplinary.
• Commitment, flexibility, resilience and empathetic handling of patients and relatives.
• Legally required proof of immunisation against measles.
