Overview
St. Anna im Bahnhof in Lucerne is looking for a specialist physician in General Internal Medicine with a focus on Preventive Medicine and Executive Health.
The workload is 20 to 50 percent and the start date is by agreement.
The employment contract is permanent.
The Position
The position combines internal medicine with preventive, consultation-intensive and individualized patient care.
It can be flexibly combined with an existing clinical or outpatient medical activity.
The incumbent actively contributes to the further development of the competence centre and its offerings.
Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive Executive Health and check‑up programmes with an internal medicine focus
- Assessing diagnostic findings and early detection of internal, cardiovascular and metabolic risks
- Creating individual health profiles and personalized prevention strategies
- Counselling patients in German and English
- Coordinating further investigations
- Interdisciplinary collaboration within the specialist network of the St. Anna Clinic and the Hirslanden Group
- Shaping the offerings in Preventive Medicine, Executive Health and Healthy Aging
Profile
- FMH specialist title in General Internal Medicine or equivalent, a qualification recognized in Switzerland
- Clinical experience in outpatient and/or inpatient internal medicine
- Strong diagnostic competence as well as holistic and networked thinking
- Interest in Preventive Medicine, Executive Health, lifestyle or movement medicine
- Experience in Preventive Medicine, Executive Health, lifestyle or movement medicine is welcome but not mandatory
- Enjoyment of a consultation-intensive role and individualized support of health‑conscious patients
- High social and communication skills as well as a professional demeanor
- Excellent German and English language skills
