Overview
Operating room and post-anesthesia recovery nursing at HQS Palmaplanas, Palma. Permanent full-time contract of 37.45 hours/week, with rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday. A minimum of three months of experience in anesthesia/PACU or resuscitation is required; six months of experience in the surgical area are desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and care for the patient before the procedure and during post-anesthesia recovery.
- Provide direct care in accordance with the nursing plan, medical instructions, and protocols, ensuring safety.
- Maintain vigilance in stressful situations and respond during procedures.
- Record information in the medical history.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing; the requirements block accepts a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of three months of experience as an anesthesia/PACU or resuscitation nurse.
- Advanced Life Support, sterilization techniques, and specific nursing techniques, according to the required profile.
- Minimum of six months of experience in the surgical area is desirable.
- Teamwork, adaptability to stress, tolerance to pressure, and decision-making ability.
Contract, Working Hours, and Compensation
Permanent full-time contract of 37.45 hours/week.
Rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday.
On-site work in Palma.
