Description
General Overview
Emergency care in Badalona; not combined with the separate ICU offering of the same center.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care, initial assessment and triage, and manage critical situations with advanced life support and area-specific techniques.
- Monitor and interpret arrhythmias, safely administer medication including high-risk drugs, and apply MI and stroke protocols.
- Operate emergency equipment and procedures, including intubation, defibrillation, ventilation, blood gas analysis and immobilizations, according to professional category and protocols.
- Prevent infections, follow protocols and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Experience in Emergency Department.
Contract, Working Hours and Compensation
Permanent part-time contract, on-site.
Two weekends per month, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 22:00; the exact monthly frequency is maintained and not averaged weekly.
