Overview
ZAS Middelheim is looking for a full-time physician specialist in emergency medicine.
The position is a self-employed contract within the emergency service.
Responsibilities
- Participate in outpatient and inpatient emergency care
- Actively take part in the on-call schedule
- Supervise and train physician specialists in training
- Safeguard quality, continuity and ZAS values
- Contribute to the implementation of new technologies in emergency care
- Provide clear and correct information to patients
Profile
- Medical degree as a physician specialist with a specialization in emergency medicine or a recognized title in emergency medicine
- Belgian-recognized licence to practice
- Good command of Dutch; multilingualism is welcome
- Team orientation, flexibility and collegial attitude
- Focus on quality, continuity and patient-centered communication
- Experience with ultrasound in emergency settings
- Knowledge of echocardiography is a plus
