About the role
Recovery nurse for Xpert Clinics and Velthuis Clinic in Rotterdam, 20–28 hours. Care from admission to discharge, usually the same day, for multiple surgical specialties and two days per week OR programmes of the Ikazia Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Guide patients from admission to discharge.
- Prepare preoperatively and monitor postoperatively.
- Provide rest, support and safe comfortable care.
- Work with hand and wrist surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, proctology and cosmetic surgery.
- Guide patients in day‑treatment programmes of Ikazia for, among others, ophthalmology, ENT, oral surgery and orthopaedics.

- Diploma in Recovery Nursing or a valid registration in A&E, ICU or CCU.

Contract, working hours and salary
20–28 hours.
Salary €3,546–€5,395 gross per month according to CAO ZKN FWG50 based on 40 hours.
Scarcity allowance 10% on top of the gross monthly salary.
Employment conditions and development
- 160 vacation hours for full‑time and 72 PLB hours per year.
- Travel allowance €0.23 per km, maximum 50 km one way, and free parking.
