Overview
ZAS is looking for a radiologist with sub-specialisation or experience in interventional radiology.
The position is campus-wide and includes ZAS Middelheim, ZAS Augustinus and ZAS Cadix.
The Position
The physician can work as an interventional and diagnostic radiologist.
In addition to interventional and general diagnostic radiology, an additional subspecialisation can be practiced.
Vascular and non-vascular interventional activities can be expanded with a fully equipped biplane angiography suite and two hybrid rooms.
Responsibilities
- Performing interventional and diagnostic radiology
- Developing vascular and non-vascular interventional activity
- Actively and independently participating in the interventional on-call schedule
- Supervising and training resident physicians
- Ensuring the quality, continuity and values of the department and ZAS
- Providing correct and understandable information to patients
Profile
- Medical specialist degree with specialization in medical imaging
- Belgian recognized licence for professional practice
- Good knowledge of Dutch
- Multilingualism is a plus
- Experience in interventional radiology is recommended
- Team‑oriented, collegial and result‑driven attitude
