About the role
Experienced operating room assistant in Amsterdam for Xpert Clinics and Velthuis Clinic, with the opportunity to take on additional senior tasks. 24–40 hours, scheduled care, no evening, night, weekend or holiday shifts and no emergency work.
Responsibilities
- Work as an operating room assistant in the OR for hand and wrist surgery, orthopedics, proctology and cosmetic procedures.
- Support and mentor colleagues within the OR team.
- Contribute to daily organization and collaboration in the OR.
- Identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with the team and management.
- Contribute to quality, work agreements and a safe working environment.
- Serve as a subject matter point of contact for colleagues.
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring new colleagues.
- Contribute to the development and professionalization of the OR team.
What you bring
- CZO Operating Room Assistant diploma.
- Preferably extensive work experience as an operating room assistant.
- Ambition to take on additional senior tasks and develop in that role.
- Enjoyment in guiding colleagues and knowledge transfer.
- Strong communication skills and professional approachability.
- Willingness to contribute ideas on quality, work processes and improvements in the OR.
- Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
Contract, working hours and salary
24–40 hours per week.
No evening, night, weekend or holiday shifts and no emergency work.
Possibility to work part‑time.
Salary €4,043–€6,058 per month based on 40 hours according to CAO ZKN.
Senior allowance for the additional senior tasks.
Scarcity allowance of 10% on top of the gross monthly salary.
