Overview

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess adult and pediatric critical patients, implement the care plan and ensure identification and safety.
• Inform and educate patients and families and document activity and progress.
• Triage and manage patients according to urgency level and protocols.
• Apply Emergency techniques listed in the offer, including wound care, telemetry, arterial blood gas analysis, paracentesis, non‑invasive ventilation, monitoring and emergency endotracheal intubation, within the professional category and center protocols.
• Administer treatments and medication, especially high‑risk ones, with control of dosage, dilutions and routes.
• Operate adult and pediatric crash carts, defibrillator‑cardioversion device, monitors, oximeters, suction devices and electrocardiographs.
• Perform arrhythmia procedures and AMI and ICTUS protocols according to regulations and procedures.
• Update knowledge and collaborate in organization and supervision of auxiliary staff when appropriate.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• Additional training, without specific content published.
• Previous experience in Emergency.
